Every fall, educators watch the same pattern unfold: students arrive with wildly uneven prior knowledge, and the gaps stay invisible until the first exam forces them into the open. What follows is a morale drop that erodes student confidence in a healthcare career path — and educator confidence in their ability to scaffold the rest of the course and rekindle that spark. The A&P Readiness Roadmap exists to answer the question that's nagged me for years: what if we could surface and address learning gaps before the first exam instead of after — so courses start strong instead of starting with a setback?

The Roadmap helps teachers:

  • Identify prerequisite knowledge before instruction begins

  • Understand class-wide trends

  • Plan targeted review within planned units instead of reteaching everything

  • Begin the year with greater confidence

Bridge Assessment

A prerequisite knowledge assessment covering the foundational concepts students need before beginning Anatomy & Physiology.

Teacher Rollout Report

A two-page class-level summary showing:

  • Topics that may need review

  • Areas of strength

  • Recommendations for addressing misconceptions through existing units

Readiness Tune-Ups

Four virtual development sessions designed to help you:

  • Interpret student results

  • Plan targeted interventions throughout the school year

  • Share feedback that will improve future versions
